My Approach

My goal is to collaboratively work with you to help you develop new coping skills, build independence, increase self-esteem, and foster healthy relationships in your everyday life.

 

My approach to treatment begins with connecting with you in a comforting, warm and safe environment. As we work together, I prioritize empathy, validation, realism, and humor. 

 

I take a person centered approach and use a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), strength based perspective and motivational interviewing, to tailor our sessions to your individual needs.

About me

I have experience working with a diverse range of clients, including teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families. My passionate lies in helping individuals identify their strengths, develop greater self-awareness and acquire tools to overcome challenges that prevent them from finding satisfaction in all areas of their lives.

 

As a certified addition counselor, I specialize in addressing a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationships, grief and loss, parenting, addiction, and trauma.
